The Cursive LA bench is a functional artwork that celebrates the diversity of Los Angeles County’s communities. Their interwoven strands symbolize the coming together of the many County neighborhoods, and their sculptural design invites a variety of playful seating arrangements. A pair of Cursive LA benches spells out L A in cursive letterforms. This artwork is one of a series installed in parks throughout LA County.

Cursive LA is designed in collaboration with James Shen of People’s Architecture Office.
