An interactive public art installation inspired by the phases of the moon, How High the Moon invites participants to share a hope or a dream on the surfaces of the moon through drawing and writing. The installation is comprised of reflective and transparent orbs that are inflated in the evenings, becoming oversized canvases for glow-in-the-dark, community art-making.

The artwork was commissioned by Tempe City Arts for Arts in the Park 2025.
